Day 1 ¡Welcome to Perú!

Day 2 City Tour in Lima

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and free morning in the city. Meanwhile, the city tour in Lima, known as “The City of Kings”, begins within 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. This tour boasts a great combination of Lima’s attractions and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary. By the way, Lima was part of the Inca Empire until it was founded by the Spanish Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535. During our guided tour, we will travel through Lima’s millennia-old history.

Day 3 Lima - Cusco

According to your flight schedule, we will transfer you to get a flight to Cusco. we will be waiting for you over there to assist and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have the afternoon free to explore the city’s highlights.

Depending on how you feel, we recommend taking a break to get energy enough to explore a part of Cusco. You will meet your tour guide at the hotel, who will gladly guide you through the city.

Day 4 City Tour Cusco

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 08:30 am. to explore the famous Qosqo city (The Capital of the Inca Empire). The tour begins in San Blas neighborhood, the oldest one in Cusco, where you’ll have the chance to stroll through the ancient and charming narrow streets from Inca times while admire the whole city from San Blas viewpoint. Then, we’ll visit the 12-Angle Stone and keep heading to the Cathedral of Cusco and the Temple of the Sun or Q’oricancha., located in the city center. After finishing this visit, we will meet our driver, who will take us to the outskirts of Cusco city to explore the famous Inca sites (Sacsayhuaman – Incredible Inca architecture, Quenqo – Temple of Mother Earth, Puca Pucara – military watchtower, and Tambomachay – ceremonial water fountain). Finally, the tour will end by coming back to the city, towards the main square or your hotel.

Day 5 Sacred Valled of the Incas - Hot Springs

This full-day tour begins at your hotel by picking you up at 7 a.m. Along the journey to the Sacred Valley, you will visit an animal shelter, the local market and ancient ruins in Pisaq and Ollantaytambo town. In Pisac, we will explore the archaeological site, which features settlements, storehouses, terraces, etc., then keep going along the Sacred Valley to stop in Urubamba for lunchtime, and finally visit the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Afterward, we will make our way to the train station in order to board the Vistadome train at 3:36 pm from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (the town located right at the base of Machu Picchu). Once in Aguas Calientes, your tour guide will take you to the hotel for accommodation and get ready to enjoy dinner.

Essential Note: Sometimes train tickets can be in high demand, necessitating a potential switch to the 7:05 pm Expedition train. Therefore, our tour begins promptly at 7 am from your hotel.

Day 6 Machu Picchu

Get ready for an unforgettable day at Machu Picchu, one of the world’s wonders. As per the new entrance schedule regulations, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and help you catch one of the buses providing transportation. Typically, the first bus departs at 5:30 am. Depending on your entrance time, you will board the corresponding bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, a scenic 30-minute journey. Upon reaching Machu Picchu, your guide will lead you to strategic viewpoints for a breathtaking experience of the wonder and its surrounding landscape (weather permitting). You’ll have ample time to capture postcard-perfect photos of Machu Picchu. Your guide will accompany you for an engaging two-and-a-half-hour tour, delving into the history of the Inca culture and its remarkable architecture. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore the remaining parts of Machu Picchu and snap more photographs. If you’ve purchased tickets to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (note that the Huayna Picchu climb requires a reservation at least 2 or 3 months in advance and costs $75 ticket), check out this link for more details on the mountains. For your return from Machu Picchu, we recommend heading back to Aguas Calientes at least 2 hours before your train departure to enjoy lunch (not included). The return train journey from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo will take about 2 hours. Your train will depart from Aguas Calientes at 4:22 pm, arriving in Ollantaytambo around 6 pm. Upon exiting the station, an assistant will be waiting to guide you and transfer you to your hotel in Ollantaytambo.

Day 7 Maras and Moray

We’ll begin with an 8 a.m. hotel pickup and head to the Salt Mines of Maras, an ancient site with over 6,000 evaporation chambers still in use. Next, we’ll visit Moray, where the Incas experimented with microclimates for agriculture. On our way back to Cusco, we’ll stop in Chinchero, the textile capital, to visit a center run by Andean women who demonstrate traditional weaving techniques. Chinchero also features an archaeological park dedicated to tuber cultivation, offering a glimpse into Inca agricultural practices.

Day 8 Hotel Transfer - Airport

We’ll arrange your transportation to the airport for your flight to Lima. (Kindly share your flight details in advance so that we can schedule the airport transfer.)
